To Battle

I scream a battle cry
That stains the bright-sky red,
I come upon the enemies head
To clear the morning skies.

I do not hear her warning
As I run to save the day,
I do not think as I charge
To the bloody battle day.

I see red streaming from my shoulder
Still I carry on,
I cannot give up now or else
I might as well be dead.

I lay in helpless puddles,
As I see her walk away.
Why can I not be strong,
Strong for just one day?

I pound the bloody earth,
Now washed in icy shower.
What use is all this power?
If one life I cannot save.

But wait, help comes and saves me,
He promised me my strength.
I'm standing, picking up my sword
And racing for the Fire.

I will win no doubt about it,
I know I can, just wait and see;
I'm getting stronger now,
A flash of orange comes streaming in.

But not at all alone,
Here we come to battle.
All of us have followed here,
To save the one we love.

"our hearts are ever connected!"
I shout, raising my sword up high.
This is why I come racing.
To save and not be protected.
